We do this by rooting ourselves in our brand offering all our managers the opportunity to become a Certified Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Nutrition (NASM).

BLENDED Health & Wellness Coaching is Entry Level & Advanced Health Coaching for individuals looking to make gradual or drastic steps to improve their overall health through diet & daily activity. We offer non-intimidating coaching that breaks it down to the basics, teaches clients how small changes can have big impact!

Our personalized plans are based on the needs & wants of our clients, constructed from a deep dive into personal health history, and are meant to help you achieve personal goals. Our goal as a team is to help you make lasting lifestyle changes. We know these changes don’t come from variations to your diet & exercise routine alone, so we work on mental changes that occur with positive outcomes.

How We Define Wellness

Dictionary version: ‘the quality or state of being in good health especially as an actively sought goal’

Better version: Wellness is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. It is an active pursuit of activities, choices, and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health. Holistic health extends beyond physical health and incorporates many different dimensions that should work in harmony. Key factors of wellness include Nutrition, Activity, Sleep & Stress Management. It is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical & mental health outcomes.’



Sam is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Weight Loss Specialist. In addition, Sam is also certified in Virtual Coaching and a TRX Qualified Trainer.

Back in 2010 Sam kicked off her career in health & fitness as a Pilates Instructor/Personal Trainer, andbuilt a strong following as an Orange Theory Fitness Instructor. When she is not running the Blended Empire or coaching individuals and groups on the path to achieve their goals, you can still catch her once a week coaching at our local Mayweather Boxing Studio!

Her passion for health & wellness derives from her desire to help others. Sam finds joy in seeing people make progress toward their goals. “Helping others work through the mental blocks, overcome personal obstacles, and make even the smallest steps to a healthier life are gratifying accomplishments as a Coach” said Coach Sam.

Sam has a background in small group and one to one coaching, and is excited to learn more about your personal goals, and help create a plan to help you work toward these goals!

April does not have a work history in fitness & nutrition but has always had a passion for health & wellness. Having her own struggles with nutrition & weight fluctuation, April founded Blended Health & Smoothie Bar as a way to bring a healthier daily option to the community she was raised in.

April is a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach and on the path to her Juice Guru Certification. Her passion for fitness & nutrition coupled with her passion for people has allowed her (and Sam) to bring a new level of education to the patrons of her store, as well as participants in the Blended Health & Wellness Coaching program.

As a mother to two teenagers, April enjoys working with both adults and teenagers to help them navigate the constant changes of life and build lasting habits to help make transitions in life easier.
